Fall Dual Enrollment

Fall Dual Enrollment

After the Game and Meanstreets Basketball is excited to announce that we are launching an initiative to provide construction training and job placement for Black and Brown people who have suffered from social and racial inequalities through our new partnership with Revolution Workshop. Revolution Workshop is all about action and bridging the equity gap that women and people of color have suffered in the construction field while putting forth effort to create relationships with communities directly impacted by these racial injustices. Revolution Workshop is located in the heart of the Westside of Chicago at 3410 W Lake Street. This program aims to place it’s attendees in union and private sector jobs through partnerships with outstanding organizations who commit to being an agent for change. Checkout their link below.

Revolution Workshop

After the Game and MeanStreets Basketball in partnership with TRIO / Kennedy King College is providing an opportunity for our student athletes to take college courses in which they will receive college credit. Student will get an unique opportunity to be a dual enrollment student free of cost. The applicants will need a 2.5 GPA to qualify. If the GPA is lower than 2.5 they will need a letter from their school counselor. Applicants will need to register as a dual enrollment student. This will be completely virtual this semester. An expectation for Dual Enrollment students is that they are willing to try their best and communicate their needs early and often with TRIO staff and their instructors. This is especially critical with virtual learning. We are here to support students as they continue to navigate new challenges and we are committed to offering all students access to these academic opportunities.
